The details of the school uniform.
All students
- Black leather shoes - all black including laces; no stripes, logos or coloured bands.
- White socks with red and green stripe 10cm above the ankle.
- Bottle green V-neck or knitted jumper or knitted cardigan with school logo (crest), available through local suppliers.
- School jacket with logo available through uniform shop.
- Plain white t-shirt worn under approved school shirt or blouse in winter.
- All school shirts to have school logo.
- Bottle green school blazer (optional for all students).
- School tie (optional for all students).
Senior students only
Year 12 only "Football Jersey" in approved design chosen annually by incoming Year 12.
Senior girls uniform
- Black pleated skirt (hemmed approx. 10 cm from knee), tailored walk shorts with logo or slacks with waistband.
- Plain white school shirt with school logo (crest).
- Black or skin coloured pantyhose without socks is an acceptable variation.
Junior girls uniform
- Heathcote tartan pleated skirt or bottle green tailored walk shorts or slacks with waistband.
- Plain white school shirt with school logo (crest).
- HHS School dress/tunic.
- Black or skin coloured pantyhose without socks is an acceptable variation.
Senior boys uniform
- Black trousers – pleat front, lightweight polyviscose, belted or tab-sided.
- School black shorts with logo.
Junior boys uniform
- "School Grey" trousers - lightweight polyviscose, belted or tab-sided. No drawstrings.
- "School Grey" shorts - lightweight polyviscose, belted or tab-sided. No drawstrings.
- Plain white school shirt with school logo (crest).
Physical education and sports uniform
This is a part of school uniform and is to be worn at all PE lessons. It may also be worn on Thursday's due to school sport.
- Custom designed polo shirt in the school colours with school logo.
- Custom designed black shorts with school logo.
- Heathcote bottle green sloppy joe or jumper.
- HHS Tracksuit pants (green).
- HHS zipper jacket with HHS school crest.
- Appropriate footwear with white socks.
Teams representing the school must purchase school sport socks from the school uniform shop. Polo shirt and black socks are available from our suppliers – Lowes (Miranda), and Claudine Schoolwear, (Caringbah).
Non uniform items
The following are not Heathcote High School uniform and are not to be worn to school at any time:
- Tracksuit pants of any colour or style (except the official HHS tracksuit sports pants which can be worn during PE lessons and on Thursdays).
- T-shirts, jumpers, sloppy joes or jackets other than the designated styles and colours.
- Board shorts, jeans, cords of ANY colour, style or length.
- Cargo style shorts/pants for boys.
- Sandals, open-toed shoes, any jogging shoe other than plain black lace up leather.
- Football socks or any coloured or striped socks.
- Any t-shirt which can be seen through approved school shirts or which protrudes below approved school shirts at sleeves or waist.
- Earrings are restricted to the wearing of small sleepers and studs.
- Facial piercings can only contain a simple stud or must be covered by a bandage.
- Necklaces must be short or worn under clothing.
- Bracelets and other adornments are not to be too thick or studded.
- Rings should be small and should not protrude excessively.
- Any clothing with logo other than the school crest.
- If hair is dyed, it must be one uniformed, natural hair colour
