Our Heathcote High School boccia team have won the NSW School Sport Unit - Sydney East boccia competition. They placed first out of 16 schools from across the region. They are now off to State to compete next term. Go the Heathcote Rams!
Boccia, a Paralympic sport, is a game of strategy and skills in the application of throwing techniques, communication, team work and game planning. Daniel Michel, a Heathcote High School alumnus, competed at the 2016 Rio Paralympics and won a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics.
