ANSTO Hackathon

ANSTO Hackathon has been a feature of National Science Week since 2020.

The 2020 theme focused on strategies to sustain our oceans. The Heathcote High School team, 'The Quirky Quesadillas', placed third.

The 2021 Hackathon theme was "Food: Different by Design" and both Senior (Years 9 to 12) and Junior (Years 7 & 8) categories were introduced. Heathcote High School's junior team, 'Fifty Shades of Science' were runners up (2nd place).

The 2022 Hackathon theme was "Glass: More Than Meets The Eye". Our teams 'The Glass Hurrah' were senior finalists and 'Glass Man Standing' were junior finalists.

We are looking forward to seeing what our 2023 teams produce.
